What does God do through us and to others? He does what is loving, true, and just, and he disciplines our will for the saving of our soul and for the blessing of other people.

Proverbs 3:9 Honour God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don't, dear friend, resent God's discipline; don't sulk under his loving correction. It's the child he loves that God corrects; a father's delight is behind all this.

We are empowered to defeat the powers of darkness from above.

Ephesians 1:19 and know the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
